Plateau Green Energy

Plateau Green Energy

Country: Spain | Sector: Wind | Acquisition Date: February 2011

Plateau Green Energy ("PGE") is RREEF Infrastructure's first investment in the renewable energy sector.  PGE represents an investment in five wind parks located in Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain (approximately 200 kilometers north of Madrid).  The five wind parks are: San Lorenzo C, San Lorenzo D, Esquileo I, Dehesilla I and Dehesilla II, which together include over 200MW of total installed capacity. The Castilla y León region has one of the most attractive wind conditions in Spain and a dense high-capacity electric transmission line.  The wind parks remuneration tariffs are governed under the applicable Spanish regulatory framework for renewable wind energy assets.

andasol

Andasol

Country: Spain | Sector: Renewables - Solar | Acquisition Date: August 2011

Andasol represents RREEF Infrastructure's investment in two operating 50MW Concentrated Solar Power ("CSP") plants located in Guadix, Granada, Spain (Andasol 1 & 2).  Andasol 1 & 2 are Europe's first ever parabolic trough power plants, which have been in operation since 2008 and 2009 respectively. These plants contribute to Spain's supply reliability and, in particular, help cover the demand peaks in the Spanish electricity grid during the summer months.  Both these plants benefit from a transparent, stable and attractive regulatory framework with guaranteed off-take production for their operating lives.

Arenales

Arenales

Country: Spain | Sector: Renewables - Solar | Acquisition Date: August 2011

RREEF Infrastructure has an investment in Arenales Solar S.L. ("Arenales") - which will construct and operate a 50MW concentrated solar-thermal power plant ("CSP Plant") in Morón de la Frontera located south-east of Seville in Spain.  The CSP Plant and evacuation line will be built under a fixed price turnkey construction contract, and is planned to complete by 31 December 2013.  Similar to Andasol 1 & 2, Arenales will benefit from a transparent, stable and attractive regulatory framework with guaranteed off-take production for its operating life.
